How to register an AdCom Indico account

Any AdCom member needs an account to access the Indico page which contains the timetable and materials for all AdCom meetings. To do so, make yourself a so-called "lightweight CERN account" (if you don't have already a CERN account) by going to the CERN account registration page:

Enter your email and name, maybe your company or organization and register. Once you have submitted the registration form, you will receive an e-mail with a randomly generated link to validate your account. By clicking on the validation link, you will be offered to choose your password. This will complete the registration of your account.

Using your registered email and password, you can now log in to Indico. Go to the AdCom category and click on the upcoming AdCom Meeting:

Now click on the "Login" icon:

and enter your email and password from the CERN lightweight account you just registered:

In case there are problems during the login, they come usually from people having already a CERN account (and maybe forgot about it) or if people use several different email addresses. In such a case please close and re-open your browser. If that does not help, remove all cookies from your browser in relation to CERN and try again.

Upon successful login, you will be taken to the Indico access page:

here you have to log in using the "well-known" AdCom password. If you don't have it, send an email to Albe Larsen to obtain it.

After you entered the password, you will be taken to the Indico page for the AdCom meeting:

Now click on "Registration" on the left side to register for the meeting. Check if you are a voting member of AdCom, and specify at which dinners you want to participate and if you have a companion (in which case you select "2" for the number of each dinner.

If you are going to give a report during the AdCom meeting, plase upload your slides well before the meeting:
