I'm trying to use gmail to send password recovery e-mails, I get this error when I submit the email address.
"Error sending Email via "smtp.gmail.com":
5.7.0 Must issue a STARTTLS command first. 2sm5111524agd.34" |

I'm looking for config examples of a shift log book where operators have to check a box or select their name from a list to prove they
have read the latest entries in the log, can anyone help.

Using stunnel4 and the 3.1.0 version of elog, I was able to use gmail smtp without the use of iptables.
In my elogd.cfg I chose:

Since there were no responses, I decided to make good use of the fact that the software is thankfully open-sourced. I modified elogd.c and added just
a couple of lines to get what I wanted.

I am having trouble with uploading large (>0.5MB) files to elog. We click on upload and in a couple of seconds, the webbrowser complains that
the server has dropped the connection. |
