That's how it is supposed to be. I tried your config file, added three entries, and got the behaviour documented in the attached images. To me everything

I can't seem to connect using elog:  
  
elog -h <myhost>:8080 -v -l Servers -a "Type=Routine" -a "Author=ScottK" -m ~/test.txt

I need to post a large number of "old" messages to one of my logbooks and I am trying to modify the script doelog (see http://midas.psi.ch/elogs/Contributions/10)
