Trigger Patterns
Trigger Help
Each WaveDREAM board has 18 trigger patterns which are represented as columns in the Trigger Patterns dialog. Each row represents one channel "CH0" to "CH15" plus the external trigger input "EXT". All 18 patterns are OR-ed to form the trigger. Each pattern can contain certain channels in coincidence ("•") or in anti-coincidence ("×"). Each channel can have positive polarity ("+") or inverted polarity ("-").

• To change the polarity of a channel, click on the "+" or "-" next to the channel.
• To invert the polarity of all channels, click on "Pol" at the top row.
• To activate or de-activate a trigger pattern, click on the PXX box at the table header. Active patterns are shown in dark green.
• To add a channel in coincidence to that pattern (AND), click once inside a cell. The symbol "•" appears.
• To add a channel in anti-coincidence to that pattern (VETO), click again inside a cell. The symbol "×" appears.
• To remove a channel from a pattern, click until a cell become empty.
