in specfile to take care of distrib env.		  elog.specelog-3.1.4-2.CNES.el6.src.rpm

columns, but you can reduce the "Text"
column. This is done in themes/default/elog.css.

I did try commenting of the width statement

see a change:

1) You modified the wrong file.
