icon5.gif   Strange Error, Service hangs when record is deleted., posted by Chuck Brost on Wed Jun 11 19:18:06 2014
I have 4 services running on a Windows Server 2008 R2 machines, 4 separate logs, only one of them is doing this, but that could be because only one of
them is trying to delete records once they are posted, I cannot say.
On that one log, everything runs fine until they try to delete a record, and they are doing it under the admin login, but the service hangs.

Elog V2.9.1-2435 if it matters.
It is time again to install the certs for SSL in Elog, and the standard openssl command line does not seem to produce the files that I need in
order to get it working on my system.

Firstly, as with some of the others recently, I am a complete newb when it comes to linux, Though I refuse to let that stop me and really want to get
this working.

To get it to work required a working installation of IPTABLES and STUNNEL

First is to add the following details into elogd.cfg

We seem to have a problem with retrieving user passwords using the forgot password system
This only happens when trying to use the password recovery from the first screen that forces people to log in with the following syntax:
Protect selection page = 1
